My grandfather was Janos (John) JENEI, born 24 June 1888 in Szokefalva(Transylvania Area) Austria-Hungary(Now(Seuca) part of Romania). He and my grandmother Suzzana (Suzie) BALA, born 14 October, 1888 in Hederfaja,(Transylvania Area)Austria-Hungary(Now(Idrifaia) part of Romania) moved to the United States in 1913 and left one daughter Elizabeth (MATZAS), there who reportedly died in 1965 there.

We may be related.

My grandmother was Maria JENEI, born 28 July 188o's in Szokefalva(Transylvania Area) Austria-Hungary(Now(Seuca) part of Romania.Came to Alliance, OH 1904-1908?? somehow related to Szasz and Veg families.

Was your grandfather in the military as an officer? If so Janos was my grandmothers brother.

Married Mihaly Bilcze from Kiralyhaza Ugosca megye now Korolevo Ukraine.

Yes janos was a Calvary officer (Husarr).

Maria came across on the boat with him and settled in Alliance Ohio in April 1913.
